One of the 7 prestigious rooms at The King’s Grand Apartment, The Venus room (Salon de Vénus) presents the most baroque decor. The arches of the mouldings represented the actions of ancient heroes relating both to the planet of the place and the actions of Louis XIV. These ceiling paintings look so surreal from afar and took years to complete it.
