Review: Sakura Terrace The Gallery, Kyoto


Kyoto is a ‘must go’ city if you are exploring Japan. To make my trip worth, I spend a few days at Sakura Terrace The Gallery. The location of this property is perfect for someone who prefers to stay near Kyoto Station. Located adjacent to the rail station, this business hotel has 220 rooms which is divided into 2 wings; North and South wing.

Review: Traders Hotel, Kuala Lumpur


Kuala Lumpur has been my yearly destination. I decided to stay at Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur by Shangri La, located in the heart of KLCC and with the Golden Triangle in close proximity, the hotel’s location was at its best. It has 571 rooms, range from deluxe to suite category to choose from. Upon entering the lobby, there will be a security screening that all guests must go through. It can be annoying but I applauded for the tight security to ensure all guests well-being and safety. The front desk is located at level 5. Check-in was quick and they require RM600 incidental deposit.

Hotel Jen Orchardgateway is strategically located in the heart of Orchard Rd making an ideal place for shopaholics and staycation-goers. The genre of Hotel Jen is a new brand under Shangri-La to cater the new ‘Jeneration’ of business and leisure travellers. This property has 499 guestrooms with 6 modern room categories.  I got the chance for a short staycation to experience what Jen has to offer.

The Marina Bay Sands (MBS) is an iconic building in Singapore. This 57 storey megastructure consist of 3 towers, connected by a vast, curved-surfboard-like deck, the SkyPark. Marina Bay Sands’ 2,561 room hotel is the largest hotel in Singapore, the 6th largest in Asia and the 34th largest in the world. With MBS, Singapore has entered into the “World’s 100 Largest Hotels” list. If you are in Singapore, I would recommend you to stay at MBS for at least a night to experience Singapore’s spectacular skyline.
