This year, the festival will see three distinct event hubs complementing the light art installations. Held at The Promontory @ Marina Bay, The Float @ Marina Bay and the Bayfront Event Space, the three festival hubs will be anchored respectively on themes of sustainability, imaginative play and lifestyle.

National Gallery Opening Celebrations

The National Gallery Singapore, which has been in the making for a decade has finally opened its doors with a grand celebrations. Home to the world’s biggest collection of modern Southeast Asian Art, the gallery features the development of both Singapore and Southeast Asian art. Apart from the visual treat, visitors will also enjoy the outdoor block party from Nov 27 to 29. You can expect  art workshops, interactive installations and food stalls at the Padang that will run from 5 pm till late.

i Light Marina Bay 2014

i Light Marina Bay is back again this year washed in a multicoloured glow! Held for the third time this year, i Light Marina Bay aims to delight visitors to the Bay with creative light installations, and at the same time raise awareness of sustainability through 28 specially curated light art installations by local and international artists from 11 countries, including China, Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Singapore. From now till 30 March 2014, the festival will be powered by energy savings from a “Switch off, Turn up” campaign, that is meant to offset the energy and power used by the light installations.
