To commemorate Earth Hour, landmarks all over the world including Singapore go dark to raise awareness about the need to take action on climate change. This annual event encourage people to go beyond the hour protecting the planet and turn off non essential lights.

This is such a great thing…thanks for reminding me….a couple of years ago we were hosting a dinner party during Earth Hour so we did it all by candle light. It made it kind of magical :-)

My family observed Earth Hour last night here in Japan. What I look forward to is the continued awareness of my two kids in the importance of intentional efforts to preserve the planet for their future.
