This week theme
In early 20th century, Pablo Picasso and many other pennyless artists were living close to Place du tertre. Up to date, numerous painters and portraitists use the space to exhibit and sell their masterpieces. The artists are allowed to put up their easels hold a special license which to be renewed every year by the city of Paris. These painters have 1 square meter to issue their paintings and must share this small place with another artist.
I loved walking in amongst the artists and seeing what they were creating.
Nice photo and nice trivia too.masterpiece? It really is.
