Standing at the height of 275-metre, Element Kuala Lumpur is the first eco-friendly Element Hotels brand in Southeast Asia. The hotel housed within the iconic Ilham Tower designed by the globally acclaimed Foster+Partners, which resembles the Bank of China in Hong Kong.
Lobby @ Level 40
From the concierge at ground level, guests will have to take the lift to the hotel lobby on the 40th floor; the highest lobby that I have been to with a 360 degree panoramic view of the Kuala Lumpur city skyline. During the day, the lobby is brightly lit with the natural light from the anti-glare full length windows. In the evening, you will be able to see the light installation of Venezuelan artist Claudia Bueno, called “Life: Resilient.” This artistic creation was inspired by Malaysia’s tropical sea life.
Element of Art
Element Kuala Lumpur features 252 rooms with a choice of studio, one, two and three-bedroom suites from level 41 to 53. The hotel is well decorated with artworks from the moment you enter the hotel compound leading to my room.
Skyline Studio
The Skyline Studio room is an open-plan layout, illuminated with abundant natural light and furnished with modern, outdoor-inspired decor that references organic forms and textures found in nature. With a choice of king and twin sized beds, all the rooms comes with Westin’s signature Heavenly Bed and down pillows.
The city views from the room is awesome. You can get a glimpse of the Petronas Twin Towers and Menara KL. Thanks to the daylight glare control, it enables to filter appropriate amounts of sunlight into the room. During special occasion such as New Year’s Eve, you are able to catch the fireworks at the comfort of your room!
Aside from the table work space, this cosy corner is a perfect place to admire the views while getting your work done.
Imagine waking up to a gorgeous view of the city skyline!
