This week theme
Cotton-top tamarin caught by surprise. One of the smallest primates known to be very sociable and active during the day. Today, the Cotton-top tamarin is considered to be a critically endangered species. The main reason for the severe decline in the cotton-top tamarin population is that they have lost more than 75% of their natural habitat to deforestation.
