Chiang Mai: Tweechol Botanic Garden

The Tweechol Botanical Garden is part of the Horizon Village & Resort property that I stayed in. If you are around Doi Saket district, the garden is worth to explore. It has one of the largest collections of plants in Thailand  collected over the years. I personally think that this is one of the well kept gardens I have ever seen.

The garden covers an area of 120 acres. You can take a leisure walk but I totally recommend renting a bike.

There are many other areas of the botanic garden to enjoy, from the palm garden with over 107 varieties of palm trees from around the world to the crafted topiaries.

It has a petting zoo too. For a small fee you can feed those ostriches.
