Tulipmania 2018

The annual Tulipmania floral display is here again! This year, over 90,000 tulips of more than 40 varieties in a myriad of colours are being brought in from the Netherlands on display till 13 May. I have not been to Netherlands but this is probably the closest I can get to being surrounded by full bloom tulips in a cooled environment.

The Netherlands is the largest producer and exporter of tulips in the world!

Quaint Little Dutch Town

Set in a whimsical town where tulips grow everywhere and even on the roofs!.

Did you know that Tulips are part of the Lily family.

A myriad of tulips in rainbow hues, like Red Princess and Purple Prince, and Yellow Flight and Orange Balloon.

Tulips only bloom for 3-7 days in the spring.

The word “tulip” means turban in Turkish derived from the turban-like shape flower.
