It’s a pity to hear that the well-known retro market will be shut for good on 31 January 2020. 3 hours from Bangkok, the name Plearnwan derived from ‘joy of yesteryear’ offers a nostalgic trip back in the 1950s. Opened in 2009, Plearnwan is one of the popular attractions in Hua Hin.
There were nothing much to shop here but the market is one of the best Instagram-worthy places.
Quirky knick knack shops designed to resemble the old shophouses of Thai-Chinese neighbourhoods.
Double-story wooden building decorated with retro items.
Plearnwarn is a small market and you could easily explore this place in less than 1 hour.
Entrance to Plearnwan is free. You should visit at least once before the entire place is shut on 31 January 2020. Plearnwan is located at Phetkasem Road (between Hua Hin Sois 38 and 40).
