The tulips is back again at Gardens by the Bay! This year, Tulipmania traces the roots of the alluring tulip and rediscovers its origins in Central Asia and the ancient Ottoman Empire. I opted to visit the Flower Dome in the evening and the tulips looks stunning amidst the Persian-style backdrop.

Return of Tulipmania

Tulipmania 2014

Bigger and better, Tulipmania is back by popular demand at the Flower Dome, Gardens by the Bay till 4 May 2014. Be prepared to be wowed by 50,000 tulip bulbs of many varieties and myriad of colours directly from the Netherlands. Tulips are delicate plants that usually last for about a week after flowering, but their lifespan can stretch to about 10 to 12 days with the climate-controlled conditions at the Flower Dome.

Flown in directly from Netherlands, the tulip bulbs will spruce up the Flower Field housed within the Flower Dome.
