This week theme.
You couldn’t possibly visit Paris without visiting Eiffel Tower which has become the symbol of the City of Light that dominates the skyline. I could stand for hours admiring the sophisticated architecture of the Iron Lady. Gustave Eiffel monument proposal was chosen for the Universal Exhibition of 1889, a date that marked the centenary of the French Revolution. This was the tallest man-made structure on earth to reach and exceed 1,000 feet in height until the Chrysler Building was completed in New York in 1930.
