The Singapore Garden Festival is back for the sixth edition. Held at the award-winning Gardens by the Bay, this year’s festival is its largest to-date. You can expect more than 70 garden and floral displays stretching across 9.7 hectares.
Fantasy Gardens
Housed in a 10m-tall tent, six whimsical Fantasy Gardens combine the creative use of plants, stage lighting and props to draw visitors into a whimsical world. One of my favourite garden is by the Italian landscape designer Stefano Passerotti’s design, Nature’s Resolution, which won the Gold and Best of Show in the fantasy gardens category.
Power of the Earth by Katsuhiko Koga and Kazuhiro Kagae of Japan.
Modern Day Maui by Adam Shuter
Dare to Dream by John Tan and Raymond Toh
World of Terrariums
For the first time, you will be greeted by more than 200 terrariums of various shapes and sizes. The exhibits is a collective effort of more than 150 community gardeners, hobbyists, students, and NParks staff.
If you love nature and art, terrarium is good hobby to start with.
