If you think Singapore weather is too warm to celebrate Christmas, think again! The perks of being the Friends of the Gardens allow me unlimited access to the Cooled Conservatories and OCBC Skyway. Escape the heat and enchant with Christmas Sugar Mountain at the Gardens by the Bay, a visual treat for everyone!
Whimsical gardenscape of vegetables and fruits, this is the first time the Gardens collaborate with an international landscape designer, Kazuyuki Ishihara, a multiple gold medallist at the prestigious Chelsea Flower Show. The flower display field transformed to magic in the evening.
Little star shining bright, we see your beauty every night.
Titled “Christmas Sugar Mountain”
Pineapples, strawberries, tomatoes and capsicums are among the ‘stars’ this festive season.
When I think of reindeer, I often visualise Rudolf and his friends pulling Santa’s sleigh. They are the only species of deer in which both male and female (and even calves) have antlers. Antlers are shed annually and new antler growth occurs in the spring and summer.
Pumpkins
Cabbages
Ananas & Berry
Catch Christmas Sugar Mountain from now till 5 January 2014 at Gardens by the Bay.
Past Events: Diwali Celebration | Mid-Autumn Festival | Flight of Fancy | Mystical Supertrees | Tulipmania! | Spring Celebrations
