The Singapore River Nights is back with a stellar line up of performances, art installations and light shows taking place over the next two weekends on October 23-24 and October 30-31. This year theme “Colours of Life“, brings the Singapore River to life with a dazzling arts and cultural celebration.
Les Voyageurs by Cédric le Borgne
This installation of larger- than-life human figures along the Singapore River invites dreamy wonder. The trans-parency of the material, when teamed with lighting, imbues these sculptures with a special, ephemeral quality.

160 is one of my favourite installation. It is an interactive light and sound installation consisting of 160 light bars covering an area of about 60 meters.

River Promenade
Popping up, guerrilla-style, across Singapore’s landscape of flats and heartland enclaves, Walter reinvigorates spaces and delights passersby. At Empress Place, Walter invites you to reimagine old colonial buildings, and to think of art and history, the old and the new.
Li Hongbo’s paper sculptures breathe fresh air into traditional Chinese arts and crafts. Ocean of Flowers presents a sprawling land- scape made of thousands of brightly coloured “flowers”. The work speaks of power, peace, destruction and beauty. Ironically, when flattened, they are revealed as weapons such as bullets and handguns.

Asian Civilisations Museum
With the Asian Civilisations Museum and Singapore River as a backdrop, Yves presents an imaginative, colourful light and sound show inspired by the museum’s collection and Singapore’s multicultural heritage in conjunction of the nation 50th birthday.
