Paris in Singapore? Yes, you heard me right! From now till 22 June 2014, Gardens by the Bay take you on a botanical journey to France with a brand-new floral display in the Flower Dome. Take in the beauty and fragrance amidst a manicured garden setting with the Eiffel Tower as the horticultural centrepiece.
A topiary Eiffel tower surrounded with lavender, lilac, jasmine and gardenia blooms.
Paris cafés are at least as famous as the Eiffel Tower, and for good reason: sitting and sipping in a café is among the finest common pleasures of a Parisian city.
The Eiffel Tower welcomes almost 7 million people a year, making it the most visited paid-for monument in the world.
Sunflowers are one of the fastest growing plants. They can grow 8 to 12 feet tall in rich soil within six months. A well-known sunflower characteristic is that the flowering heads track the sun’s movement, a phenomenon known as heliotropism.
