As part of Gardens by the Bay Goes around the World series of floral displays, the next leg take you on a journey to the Middle East. The Persian Garden is considered one of the earliest garden styles which has greatly influenced the design of gardens around the world. The most distinctive element is the geometry of Persian design.
The two main natural elements of the Persian garden are water and sunlight. Sunlight and its effects were always taken into consideration during planning. Shapes and textures were chosen to tame sunlight and harness its distribution.
The centerpiece of the Persian Garden is its elegant astral star motif fountain.
